On vacation...

Well, last week didn't bode well for the Shelton family. Zachary ended up at the Urgent Care Tuesday night and back at the pediatrician's on Friday. Low grade fever, and a rash all over him. Itchy, itchy rash all over him! He was diagnosed with two entirely different things and thanks, to friends and family, is now on the terminally ill list with no relief in sight. Don't ever ask other people for answers. You will get them in double doses! Well, we are supposed to be on vacation this week, and while it is a stay at home retreat, he has been cranky as all get out. In trouble every five minutes and in time out all the rest of the time. Children's Claritin does that to him so, today, we didn't take any. Surprisingly, he is acting a bit better!

So far, all we have done is go see Night at the Museum 2 at the IMAX. It was good but, not worth $46 for a family of four. Good grief, now I understand why we stay home all of the time! Too expensive out in the real world. For today, we are going to make some Oatmeal raisin cookies with vanilla filling. It was my day to pick can you tell! It involves sweet things. Tomorrow the puppy is getting a shot! Ouch! Thursday, we are going to the bank to refinance the house (hope we get a good deal!) and then Friday Nicholas is back with us and we are off on a picnic and swimming and on Saturday, Zachary wants us to go bowling! It is the little things that make this family happy!
