Well, I am late posting this but, oh well. Zachary had a hard time deciding on a costume this year for Halloween. He started as a werewolf, which I had the costume ready, when he changed his mind and wanted to be a ninja. I let it go for a couple of weeks hoping he would forget, but, he kept bringing it up and that we needed to go get the stuff for his costume. We went around and around about it, but, I finally gave in. I made a ninja costume for him and the night before Halloween, he threw a tantrum about how he was going to be a werewolf. I told him that I gave his werewolf costume away, thinking that we would have no choic
e but to be a ninja, but, that backfired and he said, "well, let's go get it back!" Put on his shoes and jacket and stood by the back door! He only got upset when I said no, I was not going to start over, it was too late.
He has only had one other tantrum and that was at Toys R Us. It was a bad parenting moment for me! Thankfully, he got over it fast and was a very good ninja! And I think I did a pretty good job with his costume. I said he could be a werewolf for next halloween, but now he says no, he wants to be Wolverine! Good grief!
