I HATE MY TREE!

Well, I was going to post something last week, but, didn't have anything interesting to talk about...until now. Yesterday, I went home sick (battling the cold thing again) and was sitting on the couch with Zachary. We were watching a movie, when I thought we were having an earthquake. The entire house shook, all of the pics on the living room walls came crashing down and glass was breaking in the kitchen. Yikes! I knew it, the demon tree strikes again! After last weeks ice storms, we had three huge limbs come down out of our massive oak tree. But, nothing on the house. Well, yesterday's hurricane force winds took care of that. The entire top part of the tree is on the back of the house, and branches in the kitchen. I hate that tree. This is the second time this has happened in two years and I am not letting up until the insurance company gets this tree out of my yard completely! The tree company and the contractor both said they are really busy right now and it may be weeks before they can come to work on it. Weeks! So, thank you God for the test of patience. I hadn't had one in a long time and this is a doozy! I am trying to keep a positive outlook, because we will get new windows and drywall and back patio. After the first time this happened we switched to a new agent and he was awesome yesterday. He made the claim and called all of the people to come out to help. Thanks Chuck Frye-you really were a good neighbor!
