Being a mommy

This mommy picture is of our back gutter. She hasn't moved for a couple of weeks. Babies are coming soon. This is the second year that she has had a nest for us to watch. How awesome! Speaking of birds, I love being a mommy! I have the best kids too. Zachary has been a dream to take care of. He has the best personality and likes to do just about everything (except the grocery store!) He wasn't planned but, he has been nothing but a blessing from day one. I thank God every minute of every day that we are together. Nicholas has taken some time (about 4 years, yikes) to finally let down his guard and let me in. He now will talk to me first about things before Kerry. We still have lots of growing to do, but, I am so glad to see him try new things when he visits and Zachary just adores his Bubby! There is no training for being a mommy and everyone will give you too much advice. It is just a job that has to get done, and be done well at that. Your children are a true reflection of you! I hope that I continue to grow as a mom and am able to teach my kids about kindness, generousity and, most of all, love!
