Well, when I was wishing for snow, I had no idea I needed to be more specific. Who knew an ice storm and snow of major proportions was going to occur. It ended up with my parents having no power for three days and coming to my house to stay. Zachary was thrilled to have Memaw and Papaw "spending the night!" And while, we didn't get the worst of it, this town is so predictable. Never ready for anything, of course, it will take another week to get everyone back on track. What a mess! The only thing damaged, so far, at our house was the Insight cable down by a limb in the back yard. We also have two flat tires on one of the cars, but, not sure if that is weather related. I am just glad that I decided to get extra at the grocery last week, because other than milk, which my mom brought plenty of, we were great. And, we did get to go outside and play and the library was closed so I got a free four days off, which was so needed. So, thank you God for helping my sanity and letting me wear sweat pants for an entire week! Well, maybe Weds. was jammy day, but still. I have to work this weekend (Sat and Sun) which I am not looking forward too. But, we have a superbowl party to go to tonight. So, we always root for the underdog. Go Cardinals!

I am so excited you have a blog. Who would have known. I love hearing how things are going and all of the fun you are having.
We need to do dinner soon. Much to catch up on.

How sad/funny is it that we can live in the same town and have the exact OPPOSITE experience??? I was so mad/sad/upset, I was seriously asking God "what did I do??? What did I do to deserve no power, losing $200 worth of brand new groceries, and all I wanted was for my kids to get to play in the snow!" (Which they did, Sunday - but still...it was like 50 outside. We are SOOOOO getting a generator!! (I would prefer moving, but Mike won't hear of it) I think Angel Mounds is cursed. Now we know why the Native Americans "disappeared"!!!
