Being a mommy again...

This precious little thing has just joined our family! Chloe is a mix of Yorkie and Chihuahua (did I spell that right?) Anyway, she is a darling. Zachary has wanted a dog since birth and has been told that since he and Daddy have certain allergic reactions to some dogs, he was going to have to wait until he had a home of his own to try it out. Honestly, I didn't want to get one, him have a reaction and then take the dog back. Well, Kerry went nuts when he saw this puppy and while everyone thinks I wear the pants in this relationship, we came home with a dog. I have never seen him act like that over anything! Not even computer parts! Well, Zachary was ecstatic and could hardly contain himself for the 48 hour waiting period. I know nothing about dogs, my brother and I never had pets growing up. But, I do know that this baby cried all night Friday and Saturday and off and on Sunday. I now have a plethora of "stuff" the pet store said we had to have that came to grand total! Good grief! Why? Why are the cute things in this world so expensive? But, I am smitten too. We have five days trial time to see how things go, but, we will not be giving this dog back. Once you name it, you become attatched and it's true! So, I find myself in very familiar ground. Being a mommy again is a pretty fun job :)
